The invention relates to a device comprising a roller rotatable about an axis of rotation for a conveyor system and a suspension supporting the roller, which has a fork and an axle pin which passes through the roller and is carried by the fork.
Rollers for conveyor systems are used in particular for transport trolleys for rack storage for general cargo. Such floor-bound, rail-guided transport wagons are also referred to as shuttles or transfer wagons. Conventionally, a fork made of metal is used to suspend such a roller, which receives the roller between its fork arms. A metal axis pin forming the axis of rotation of the roller passes through the roller and openings of the fork arms and is rigidly connected to the fork arms, for example by screw connections or by pressing.
The object of the invention is to provide an advantageous, simple and preferably tool-free assembly of the type mentioned. According to the invention, this is achieved by the features of claim 1.
In the device according to the invention, a first and a second clip part are provided. The clip parts each have a recess into each of which an end section of the axle pin projects. To connect to the fork, the clip parts can be inserted into a respective insertion path of the fork in a direction perpendicular to the axis of rotation of the roller and can be snapped together with the fork.
The assembly of the roller on the suspension can thus advantageously be carried out simply by plugging and locking the parts together, without a

Hofmann & Fechner @ 0007/0023 special assembly tool is required. A simple disassembly of the roller from the suspension is also advantageously possible, e.g. to replace the roller by releasing the snap connections between the clip parts and the fork.
In an advantageous embodiment, the snap connection between the respective clip part and the fork is formed by an elastically deflectable latching lug of the clip part, which snaps into a latching recess of the fork. But an arrangement of the locking lug on the respective fork arm of the fork and the locking recess on the respective clip part is also conceivable and possible.
The insertion tracks are advantageously located on the inner sides of the fork arms facing the roller and extend in the longitudinal direction of the fork arms. The longitudinal direction of a respective fork arm is defined here by its course from its free end in the direction of the base section of the fork connecting the two fork arms.
A preferred embodiment of the invention provides that a damping part is arranged between the respective clip part and the respective end section of the axle pin. The material of the damping part has a greater elasticity than that of the axle pin and the fork. In particular, a sleeve-shaped section of the damping part surrounds the axle pin and this sleeve-shaped section of the damping part is surrounded by a sleeve-shaped section of the clip part.
The damping part advantageously acts not only in the radial but also in the axial direction. For this purpose, the respective damping part can have an annular collar protruding outwards at one end of the sleeve-shaped section. This rests on a shoulder of the axle pin, which is formed between a central section of the axle pin and a respective end section of the axle pin, which has a smaller diameter than the central section. The assigned one is on the other side of the ring collar

Clip part on the collar.
In the device according to the invention, the fork and the clip parts, preferably also the axle pin, are advantageously made of plastic. It is particularly preferred that all parts of the suspension consist of plastic.
Further advantages and details of the invention are explained below with reference to the accompanying drawings. In this show:

The rollers 2 are connected to frame parts 5 by means of the suspension.
The suspension for a respective roller 2 has a fork 6 which has a first and a second fork arm 6a, 6b which are connected to one another by a base section 6c of the fork.
The roller 2 is held in the intermediate space between the fork arms 6a, 6b by an axle pin 7 arranged in a central opening 2a of the roller 2, the axle pin 7 being connected to the fork arms 6a, 6b in the manner described below.
In the exemplary embodiment, the opening 2a is formed by the inner ring of a ball bearing 2b of the roller, on the outer ring of which the rim 2c is arranged, on the outside of which the tread 2d is arranged.
The tread 2d represents solid rubber tires for the roller 2.
The longitudinal central axis of the axis pin 7 thus represents the axis of rotation 10 about which the roller 2 can be rotated.
The axle pin 7 has first and second end sections 7a, 7b which protrude into recesses 8a of clip parts 8, a respective damping part 9 being located between the respective end section 7a, 7b and the respective clip part 8. A respective damping part 9 has a sleeve-shaped section 9a, with which it surrounds the respective end section 7a of the axle pin 7 and which is received in a sleeve-shaped section 8b of the respective clip part.
The axle pin 7b advantageously has a central section 7c, which has a larger diameter than the end sections 7a, 7b and on which the roller (in the exemplary embodiment with the inner ring of its ball bearing 2b)

05/07 2018 14:47 FAX +43 5522 7313710 Hofmann & Fechner @ 0010/0023. An annular collar 9b of the respective damping part 9 bears against the respective shoulder 7d between the middle section 7c and the respective end section 7a, 7b. The annular collar 9b represents a disk-shaped section of the damping part 9, which projects outwards from the edge of the sleeve-shaped section 9a of the damping part 9 facing the roller 2. At the end of the sleeve-shaped section 8b of the respective clip part 8 facing the roller 2, an annular collar 8c also protrudes outwards, which forms a disc-shaped section of the clip part 8 and bears against the side of the annular collar 9b of the damping part 9 facing away from the roller 2. A respective damping part 9 thus acts not only in the radial but also in the axial direction.
The fork arms 6a, 6b of the fork 6 each have an insertion path 6d. This takes up the respective clip part 8, the clip part 8 being secured against displacement in the longitudinal direction of the insertion path 6d by a locking lug 8d which engages in a locking recess 6e of the fork 6.
The insertion path 6d arranged on the inside of the respective fork arm 6a, 6b facing the roller 2 runs in the longitudinal direction of the respective fork arm. A respective clip part 8 is displaceably guided relative to the insertion path 6d by a guide section 8e, which adjoins the sleeve-shaped section 8b of the clip part 8.
The guide section 8e has a longitudinal extent which is parallel to the longitudinal extent of the insertion path 6d.
The insertion path 6d is formed by a groove-shaped recess in the fork arm 6a, 6b. This groove-shaped recess can advantageously have undercut side walls, so that the guide section 8e is secured against falling out of the insertion path 6d in all directions at right angles to the insertion direction 13. For this purpose, the guide section 8e engages in the undercut region of the insertion path 6d.

The latching lug 8d is arranged on the guide section 8e, specifically in an area remote from the connection area of the guide section 8e with the sleeve-shaped section 8b.
In the exemplary embodiment, the damping parts 9 have end caps 9c which close the sleeve-shaped sections 9a on the opposite side of the annular collar 9b.
To assemble the roller 2 with the suspension that rotatably supports the roller 2, the axle pin 7 is first inserted into the opening 2a of the roller 2 (in the direction parallel to the axis of rotation 10). This state can be seen in FIGS. 6 to 8.
Furthermore, the damping parts 9 are pushed onto the end sections 7a, 7b of the axle pin 7 (in the direction parallel to the axis of rotation 10). This state is shown in FIGS. 9 to 11.
Furthermore, the clip parts 8 are plugged onto the damping parts 9 (in the direction parallel to the axis of rotation 10). The sleeve-shaped sections 8b of the clip parts 8 thus surround the sleeve-shaped sections 9a of the damping parts 9, which in turn surround the axle pin 7. Furthermore, the collar 9b of the respective damping part 9 bears against the respective shoulder 7d of the axle pin 7 and on the opposite side lies against the ring collar 9b of the respective damping part 9, the collar 8c of the respective clip part 8. This state is shown in FIGS. 12 to 14.
The roller with the inserted axle pin 7 and the attached damping parts 9 and clip parts 8 is now positioned in front of the space between the fork arms 6a, 6b, as shown in FIGS. 15 to 17. Furthermore, the roller is pushed into the space between the fork arms 6a, 6b, the clip parts 8 with their guide sections 8e being pushed in the insertion direction 13 into the insertion tracks 6d until the latching lugs 8d of the clip parts 8 into the latching recesses on the fork arms 6a, 6b

Snap in Hofmann & Fechner @ 0012/0023. The insertion direction 13 is perpendicular to the axis of rotation 10.
The insertion direction 13 is advantageously parallel to the direction of the longitudinal extension (= longitudinal direction) of the fork arms 6a, 6b. The insertion direction 13 is thus at right angles to the pivot axis 11.
The state shown in FIGS. 2 to 4 is thus achieved.
The locking recesses 6e are formed in the exemplary embodiment in the form of window openings in the fork arms 6a, 6b. If the roller 2 is to be removed from the suspension again, the locking lugs 8d can be pressed through these window openings until they disengage from the locking recesses 6e, whereupon the clip parts 8 along the insertion tracks 6d can be pulled off the fork arms 6a, 6b.
Instead of window openings, the latching recesses 6e could also be designed in the form of depressions, in which case the guide sections 8e can then be pressed together to disengage the latching lugs 8d from the latching recesses 6e.
In the exemplary embodiment, the fork 6 can be pivoted about a vertical pivot axis 11 relative to the frame part 5 on which it is held. For this purpose, the base section 6c has a through opening 6f which is penetrated by a hinge pin 12 which is fastened to the frame part 5.
The fork 6 is preferably made of plastic, for example PA. The plastic conveniently contains carbon fibers. This counteracts a static charge. A content of other electrically conductive fibers or particles and / or an electrically conductive coating could also be provided.
The clip parts 8 are preferably made of plastic, for example PA. The plastic conveniently contains carbon fibers. This makes a static

Counteracted charging. A content of other electrically conductive fibers or particles and / or an electrically conductive coating could also be provided.
The axle pin is preferably made of plastic, for example PA. The plastic conveniently contains carbon fibers. This counteracts a static charge. A content of other electrically conductive fibers or particles and / or an electrically conductive coating could also be provided.
The damping parts 9 are preferably made of a thermoplastic elastomer (TPE), for example PU. Formation from another elastomeric material is also conceivable and possible.
The damping parts 9 interposed between the axle pin and the clip parts 8 achieve a smooth, low-vibration run. In principle, it is also conceivable and possible to omit the damping parts 9. The clip parts 8 are then plugged directly onto the end sections 7a, 7b of the axle pin 7 and the end sections 7a, 7b of the axle pin 7 are held directly (and not with the interposition of the damping parts 9) by the clip parts 8.
A design with insertion paths extending at right angles to the longitudinal direction of the fork arms 6a, 6b, so that the insertion direction 13 is perpendicular to the direction of the longitudinal extension of the fork arms 6a, 6b, is also conceivable and possible.
The invention can save costs for the manufacture and / or assembly.
The device according to the invention is also characterized by a low weight.
As described, the invention can be used in particular in the case of
